Looking for friends in San Jose

Hi,
I'm Jennie, a 39 yo TS woman who just recently moved to San Jose.
I had seen a couple other post here from peeps looking for friends, but none seemed to be from my area.

I've been on hormones for about 5 months now, I'm not quite passable yet but I've been living full time as a woman.
I've been in San Jose for just under 2 months and been having a hard time trying to find friends to hang out with.
I have a few friends in the area, but they all have way busy lives, and I'm out of work on a disability, so I have lots of free time that I've been just spending alone.
I'm not looking for sex partners or romance or anything like that, just friends to hang out and do things with. Maybe go out to movies, shopping, getting coffee, playing board games, going out to clubs or whatever.
I'm a goth/punker girl, usually wear lots of black, am 420 friendly but not into any drugs.

    There is a yahoo group i believe called Bayareatrannychasers II and it has been promoting Ts and admirers gettin together at Tinkers Dam in Mountain View on Wednsday nights (as was mentioned here), I have never gone but have read in the groups posts they have had small and friendly turnouts. a T named Gina runs the Y group.U might check them.

    on the kinky side the altcom norcal chatroom has a monthly munch, alternating tween SJ and SF. This month in SF on the 15th and after the munch some folks go to the citadel others the Power Exchange club in SF. Next monthit will be SJ and when its in SJ after the munch a number of people go to a BDSM play space called Edges ( i have not been there but have heard good things about it). I have met a number of people from the norcal munch and find they are in general an openminded tolerant inclusive friendly group of people. U can regester at altcom and access the chatrooms without paying.

    Welcome to San Jose. If you're looking for like-minded folks, you may want to visit Carla's near downtown. I believe there is a small social network there that goes to events or hang out at the shop.
